Pervasic's mobile solutions are delivered as a managed service from resilient, carrier-grade data facilities to meet the level of service, security and availability demanded by some of the UK's largest organisations.
At the heart of every Pervasic solution is the MobileOne® Platform, a sophisticated communications and data management platform at the forefront of mobile data technology. Developed by Pervasic to meet the challenges of business-critical mobilisation solutions, the MobileOne® Platform will integrate with any back-office system or systems.
The MobileOne® application
- This runs on the hosted MobileOne® Platform with your own specific database, integration and configuration settings and can be tailored from pre-built application objects/templates or using your own defined forms.
- The application integrates with your system(s) through the standard MobileOne® system gateways - with the ability to fetch outbound data and return inbound data.
- Connectivity options through the MobileOne® system gateways include: Remote Database gateway, SOAP/XML gateway, proprietary API gateways and image server.
The MobileOne® client
- This application runs on the PDAs used by your employees.
- We work with all the major European mobile operators, so we'll find the best for you.
- The client manages reliable bandwidth and battery efficient communication and decouples the user's application from the communication network to allow them to operate seamlessly whether or not they have connectivity.
Reliability and security
Pervasic addresses the specific integration architecture you require, including availability, fail-over, bandwidth and specific security requirements. To provide data integrity, solutions adopt a loosely-coupled staged architecture that avoids data loss and automatically recovers from connectivity issues whether at the device or at the customer systems. Each day's job information is stored by the handheld application and is available, regardless of network coverage, until the user logs out. Once logged out the sensitive data and the application is removed from the device.
Zero-touch scalability
Our platform is architected for massive scalability using standard system components. If you want to add more mobile workers, then we can monitor platform capacity and upgrade the architecture as needed.
24/7 operation and monitoring
The MobileOne® Platform meets our availability target of 99%. It is monitored constantly by the Pervasic Service Desk. MobileOne® applications are also built with application level monitoring and health checks so the service desk can rapidly escalate issues such as connectivity or data unavailability. Applications utilise a common logging framework to escalate alarms and/or provide diagnosis of issues in the field.
Service Desk
As part of the managed service, the Pervasic Service Desk provides helpful, knowledgeable expertise via a single point of contact for you to:
- Raise issues (by phone/email)
- Provision mobile workers
- Receive details of system upgrades
- Request information.
As an option, the Service Desk provides monthly service reports on service availability and calls logged with the Service Desk.
Remote upgrades and management
At Pervasic we understand the issues in managing a remote workforce, applications and devices and we make your life easier by issuing updates "over the air" which is entirely seamless and non-disruptive to your workforce.
Accordingly, we provide:
- Remote configuration including client lock-down
- Managed over-the-air updates of the MobileOne® Application
- Managed over-the-air updates of the MobileOne® Client
- Heterogeneous device communities
To de-risk updates, changes can be progressively rolled-out to single employee and/or groups of employees with virtually instantaneous fall-back of issues arising. We keep you in charge of changes to your mobile application.
