MobileOne® - DYNAMIC FORMS
MobileOne® Dynamic Forms provides users with a very simple way to create their own custom forms within the MobileOne® environment, allowing existing mobile users to extend their field-based applications or for new applications to be created.
By enabling every part of the field service requirements to be encapsulated onto the PDA, organisations are able to eliminate paper in the field, streamlining processes within a single intuitive user interface and further reducing the need for information to be manually passed between the field and the office.
The Screen Designer provides an intuitive-to-use, drag-and-drop environment that enables non-technical users to quickly define new forms to be used within their mobile application. Data types can be selected from a comprehensive set of available definitions including text, number, date and time field along with mobile specific data elements such as photographs and signatures. Data entry can be simplified by utilising standard form objects such as check boxes, buttons, drop-down lists and radio buttons.
Once visually created in the Forms Designer and accepted, then MobileOne® Dynamic Forms turns the design into an XML based form that can be automatically brought into service and transmitted over the airwaves to your PDA users.
With the introduction of MobileOne® Dynamic Forms, field service organisations are now able to bring every aspect of the field worker’s data requirements into the mobile application. Information collection currently outside of the standard application can be included by adding new forms to existing workflow or creating new menu-based forms.
With MobileOne® Dynamic Forms information is only required to be entered once with the system replicating this across multiple systems, reducing both data entry time and errors. As an integral part of the complete MobileOne® solution, field workers only need to be proficient in the usage of one system that enables them to receive work, view job related information and collect all of the data required.
