Coffee specialist Matthew Algie commits to Pervasic
Matthew Algie & Company Ltd, the UK's leading independent coffee roaster has reaffirmed its commitment to Pervasic by signing a two-year extension to its contract.
Pervasic is providing its leading MobileOne® Enterprise solution to the Glasgow-based company which allows its field workforce to be allocated jobs and to file reports wirelessly using a mobile device.
With Pervasic, Matthew Algie has been able to enjoy exceptional management visibility and enhanced productivity, while sharpening its competitive advantage.
Matthew Algie provides coffee, tea, machines and training services to businesses across the UK and Ireland. Its customers range from retail giants such as Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury - with their popular in-store restaurants - through to small, chic coffee bars. The coffee specialist also provides products and services to around two thirds of the UK and Ireland's four-star and five-star hotels.
Over the past three years, Pervasic has enabled Matthew Algie to enhance its excellent service levels by empowering its 40 field engineers to work more effectively.
Previously, our engineers would receive jobs and file their reports using text messages via their mobile phones. But this proved impossible to manage efficiently.

However, the Pervasic solution has proved invaluable - making a dramatic contribution at a critical time of growth for the company amid the explosion in demand for coffee.
Until three years ago, Matthew Algie had no limited management visibility of their field service teams. But the Pervasic mobile application - running on O2 Mantle handhelds used by each engineer - integrates seamlessly with back-office systems, so managers can keep in close contact with engineers and locate machines and stock in transit.
Our engineers have found the application to be intuitive, boosting their productivity. Pervasic are easy to work alongside and we have fine-tuned the solution over time to reflect changes in our business. It's scalable too: if we recruit more engineers then it only takes a call to Pervasic to get them connected.

As well as providing a strong return on investment, the Pervasic solution is also helping Matthew Algie to win new contracts.
Pervasic provides real-time data that we can share with our customers - and this is proving an important selling tool when we offer our services to new companies. We can show them exactly when and where our engineers visited and what was required, which can help them in areas such as performance monitoring and training.
